With Brick And Mortar - 2008

With Brick And Mortar is the second album from the Minneapolis band Texatonka. The effort marks a rock journey that starts where their debut left off, taking the listener through a tour de force of pop gems, followed by a second half of ambitious album rock.

Texatonka has created a quilt from patchwork. WBAM was recorded at many locations, on many dates, and with many musicians. They worked with Ed Ackerson (Polara) at his Flowers Studio, who helped push the band sonically and gave the project a basic structure. Peter Anderson (Honeydogs, Iffy, Polara) added percussion to the recordings, as well as drums on "Save The River," and Scott Glaser (Hard Left) contributed bass to the project.
